View Full Version : Nuts for Sportmax
OK so my sportmax 002s arrive today and look good, but what nuts are you supposed to use with them?
I'm using Ford/GM +1" extended studs, which are the same thread as toyota, so I need open enders.
Anyone show me what you use?
Thanks.

you're supposed to use "tuner style" nuts. some autozone-slim-splined lugs should work.

do a search for "MUTEKI" or KYOKUGEN"... and your question will be answered.
PS: WELCOME TO ZILVIA.
Thanks guys!
I don't actually have any stock nuts as the car came with SSRs all round, but I've found what I need in the UK (where I live) now.
I doubt I will get them by friday drift practice, but I think the enkie nuts I found will hold them in place for now... hopefully.

nissan and subaru's thread pitch is m12x1.25
pretty much everything else from japan used m12x1.5
Domestics generally use m12x1.5
unless its a truck. but you dont have to worry about that.
dori_sil8t is correct
just go with gorilla spline tuned open ended lug nuts, m12x1.5
I work at America's tire company and they're the slimmest lug nuts we have not to mention, they will work. they're legit
