Im new to the forum wanted to see if theres anyone else on here with a 2.4 liter SR

Hey guys im newto the forums, im just wrapping up my SR2.4 liter build with BC kit, anyway just wanted to see if anyone else here is running this kit, or another stroker kit so i can have a base to compare to durring tuning thanks. im running a PE1420 for the time being until the motors good an broked in and then a custom turbo for high HP

yeah, dont worry bout the fools on here, some are just mad that they are victims of trends, some believe they are god if they have zipties holding bumpers on and huge ass exhaust pipes protruding out the back, in reality they get laughed at repeatedly, but on here, its all about nut swinging others trendy ass 240's. You'll get neg repped for the stupidest reasons on here, just dont worry about it, theres more important things in life than to please every ass on the internet

The Peak-performance S14 in Formula D uses a 2.4 Stroked s14 SR. With a HKS 3037 Kit they made about 420whp on a Mustang Dyno. They usually run it at about 350-380 whp during races.

GT35R on a 2.35 litre is not going to outspool a GT30R on a 2.0 Litre

Yea but overall power will be much higher with a gt35r especially for freeway racing. Also FP's new gt35r spools much faster than a regular gt35r. Check it out its on their site.

I have owned a 35R and a 30R and a 3076R.

The 35R on the SR was just laggier. If it were a drag car then that would be a different story, gearing would be something I would be more interested in playing with before stroking and boring.

Unless your boosting over 20-26 psi off the island the 35r Is not going be night and day difference on either disp compared to a 3076R with the same turbo housing

I like the 2.2 - 2.3 Litre idea, and plan on building one to use with a small turbine 35R vairent when cash allows so don't get me wrong on it's utility

I totally agree with you with the added lag and all. But a time attack car is built to go fast in a combination of areas. If one was looking to build a car to play around with the supra's, vipers and z06's in our area it would have to be tuned for freeway racing. Most these old guys wont race light to light in fear of cops...

But they sure as heck will race us from 35/50 - what ever. Plus its a very mature scene out here at the vegas roll ons. Alot of high end cars and bikes show up every weekend. Personally I want a dyno queen/ top end king these days. Just cant afford a properly built supra. So I need to build my car to compete with them.
