CXRacing KA24E Turbo Kit

Has anyone heard of these guys?

From their descriptions, it's just a bolt on kit with no modifications to fuel (i.e fuel pump, ecu, injectors etc.) I found this kit on eBay going for $1399.99. I know its an eBay kit. It probably isn't worth it. Just wanted to seem some insight on this. It'd be great if they just sold the SOHC manifolds separately, saves us single cam guys alot of money (even though they may not be that great; its still something).

There's a distinct lack of ecu tuning or fuel/timing control. I'm skeptical about the longevity of this setup on a stock ecu. I'd buy from JGS and save the hassle, anyway.

Lol, apparently they are using a stock worn out clutch too... couldn't even hold 230hp.

Seems ghetto. I wouldn't trust doubling an n/a motor's output without touching fuel or timing.

i have their exhaust. BUt like people have said i wouldnt trust that at all. 230hp with stock injectors? if thats the cause then when people do a sr style turbo ka why do they change injectors. they use sr injectors. no tunning = a rough running car. i say with every turbo kit you still need to tune the timing atleast.

haha one thing i forgot to mention is i have teh cxracing intercooler

-fits ok
-couplers / t bolt clamps are ok
-brackets were total shit.

if i had to do it all over again id just get greddy mspec for like 150$ more

The one from RB-Performance is the shitt They still sell it. I think they tune for a additional charge not much tho so it would be worth your money to just have them do it =]
