I have the opportunity to buy a 91 hatch auto with a warped head.  My question is would it be worth more for me to fix it and sell it or to part it out?  I can fix the head no problem but I dont know if there are any other problems cause I havent seen the car yet.  I already have an 89 hatch project car. I don't really need another project at this time other than to fix it.  I hate to see another 240 be parted out but if being an organ donor it makes others live it would be worth it.

well, u didn't say how much it costs, but it sounds like an ideal SR candidate, more so than the 89, as your speedo and AC and PS lines will all be in the right spot to begin with. &nbsp;we need more details <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

They want $500 for it. &nbsp;I already have the sr in my 89 so i guess I could swipe the finishing parts off of the 91 for my 89. &nbsp;Pretty much all I know about the 91 is that it is a hatch its automatic it has a sunroof and it has a warped head.

If you can fix it, which is relatively cheap to do (with all the sr swaps) then I would. Also ask to see if it has a clear title, just to make sure. Other than that take a drive out to see if it is torn up or just needs some cleaning. What part of the country is it in? &nbsp;

well, if it was me and the 91 hatch was in good shape I would take it over a 89 any day of the week. especially a dead one for $500 &nbsp;thats my take
