INFORMATION ON WHY: I bought the car from JSPEC240 here on zilvia. I was very happy, and started finding the new dash, and all the parts I have laying around in the garage I was going to put on it. Yet in the end, I noticed a good deal on a s14 (free). So I took that car, and decided to part with this s13. I was going to keep it, imagine, I invested $850 on taking out the old ac system, and putting the new ac system (R12 or whatever that shit is).

pros
- working ac (just fully replaced with new ac system)
- oem body w/ minor dents of course
- virgin body and hasnt been touched yet
- speedo works and rpm works
- compression is stable and motor is healthy now
- single cam
- can fix any dents, and primer black if needed (+$300)
- gas saver (320+ a full tank)
- recently maintained motor fluids, ac, tranny fluids, clutch fan, etc to make it reliable
- I can smog the car for extra $150 as is (because it wont pass right now)

cons
- gas lid lock is taken off
- 3rd gear grinds IF above 4rpm. Between 3 and 3.5 rpm it goes in good
- clear coat on roof and hood is ridiculously coming off
- slow single cam
- dash has multiple cracks
- no radio (but ready for a radio if you buy one)
- smog is due OCTOBER 31 2008

So the 850 you paid, was it to put new lines and such in or convert the r12 to r134a? I'm just asking because i have lines, however need to convert it, and HOPE, it wont be that much, thnks, GLWS, awesome deal!

turbo dreams - ya, it cost me $780 or so to convert the AC w/ new ac compressor, and etc. Man, ill sell the new system to you, for cheap, so I can sell the car cheaper, and maybe in the end, we all get what we want. You get AC, and I get this car sold. Pm me if interested...

I havent tried to pass the car for smog yet. The tags are expired by 10/08. It should pass smog since its a stock motor, but I havent personally went to try to pass it yet. The tags are current, so you have no back fees.

On serious buyers, I might figure something out with the dash, but for most who check the car, try to lowball so I figure not to. Pictures of the motor, sure, no problem. I wont be able to til wednesday.
