cool pics but you really cannot call it the Chernobyl of the USA. There was no Nuclear accident and there is no fallout. If you want to see the Chernobyl of the USA that would be three mile Island though the big difference is three mile island leaked a little radiation but was sealed and the meltdown was contained. At Chernobyl the meltdown blew the roof off the top the reactor releasing mass doses of radiation. Russian reactor containment technology did not exist to the point that American, Japanese and French reactors have.

Some nuclear weapons plant over here that's been sealed shut for the past few decades started leaking pollutants into the ground and everything around it is dying.

If it wasn't for Chernobyl I wouldn't be alive. :keke:

Well my parents were living in Czech Republic at the time, which is only two states away from Ukraine. They were trying to have their first child, and the cloud caused my mom to have a miscarriage, so they decided to wait and I was born two years later.

Whoa, cool. Packards r0x.

Too bad the whole place has fallen into utter ruin, like so much of the rest of the city.

Jesus you guys act like you've never seen the "Merge to HDR" function in Photoshops File->Automate menu.

Too bad your n00b camera doesn't have an "auto bracket" feature that actually captures all the images at different eV's at the same time - you changing shutter speed or aperture to get your dynamic range while the clouds moved above fucks everything up.

My pops is a pro photog w/a 1DS mk3 and a bunch of L-series glass. I've been spoiled.
