naw, it's all on the person. like for me, we have a group of friends kicking it, bbq-ing, or drinking; whatever the fuck. so one time they were messing around on CS, came up with the name SYTFU[shut you the fuck up]. i'm not really fond of the whole team name crap because we are all a bunch of friends[but whatever, they like family]. we organized a fat 3rd annual bbq at the marina, all car crews came, just to name a few: team outkast, bays2k, hondatech, tunerfriends, newcelica, curveunit, clubrsx, 600rr.net, bayareariders, bayareaprelude, norcalevo forums, etc. shit was fat, free car show, free food. it was on jdm theory's level without the hurt ass models. i can understand why people bash on "racing teams". but my crew is more like a big family, we go to events that doesn't involve cars together, hang out, or whatever. afaik, we're pretty much known on the local bay area forums. www.sytfu.com (http://www.sytfu.com) check it out. i say just get people you know on your island, you can't get folks that know nothing about you.
