save your money for a real LSD after 12-18 years the VLSD's are pretty much dead.

Or I'm pretty sure 30 ppl are gonna jump in here and tell ya to weld it

yea i figured that, i don't wanna weld it tho. i just got my car back from doing the swap and my mechanic said he could hook my up with a ford 8 1/2 rear for the car. she said he has done like 3 or 4 of them and hes not charging me an arm and a leg. what do you think?

Drag or drift? Im guessing Drag, if your thinkin of swappin a solid Axle in there.

The 240's stock Rear ends hold up fine to abuse as long as you dont completly half ass things.

That alot of custom work for that Axle swap though

the vlsd is cheaper and easier tho thats why i was thinking of doing that

new or used?

Dont buy used, more than likely it wont last long.
Buying new? might as well buy a Tomei or Nismo

1.5 is good DD 2 way is for tack you can DD it but the car will hop around conners and wears tire quicker

like it was mentioned earlier, any vlsd you find now will be old and boogered to shit. the fluid filled sack in the pumpkin will be like old mans balls.

i'm currently in the market for diffs and have been looking at the S15 helical (i don't drift) or a clutch type.
