hey guy i was wondering if theirs any difference from a s14 Ka24de and a s13 Ka24de........? just wondering about the block becuz i want to buy a block but the idk if i can get one from a s13 and switch everything from my s14 block to a s13 block......sounds stupid but just want to make sure.

From what I know...the block is the same for the s13 and s14 ka24de. The difference is in the head which ended up having a slight different in compression and have different cam and intake manifold.

o ok so theirs no problem with using a s13 block.

The blocks are the same, the compression is also the same 9:5.1.

yeah....the cams are different

"'91 to Mid-93 cams are all the same, and are all 240/248 duration.

'94 S13 ('vert) and ALL S14 cams are 232/232.

The changeover was when the eliminated the SCV (secondary butterflies) form the intake manifold at some point in mid-1993.

So, S13 with SCV's = better cams. All '91 and '92's had the 'good' cams...and most the '93's."
