Still not seeing it, Americans are probably viewed pretty unfavorably at present time, so I doubt one dead mexican is going to make it any worse. Like I said though, definately no good for the drunks, running over pedestrians is always bad for image. for what its worth, i do not condone drinking and driving, especially in Mexico.

He is a Mexican but an American citizen living in Texas. I doubt that Mexico will blame America for what a Mexican-American has done. And there is no proof that he was a legal American, just that he said he was living in Brownsville, Texas. Anyways, whenever I go to Mexico I hear grumblings a lot from the Mexicans that American immigrants aren't true representatives from Mexico. They hear about all the gangs and violence here in the states so I could understand where they're coming from.
This is just a dumbass guy who drove drunk and will get what he deserves in JAIL!

I was in Todos Santos, baja - near Cabo. While I was at a gas station, a car pulls up and some dude had a beer open. I thought "damn." Then another guy with a beer pulled in. The last guy took the cake. He had a mixed drink with umbrellas like Garth in Wayne's World. I swear to Almighty God that I am not bullshitting.
