So normally I don't post up threads but after reading the July 2008 issue of car and driver I got sort of pissed. They compare a Porsche 911 Turbo, Skyline GT-R, and the new BMW M3. If any of you have read this article you would know how ridiculously biased it is towards the M3. I am not a Nissan fanatic or anything close to that, I am a performance kind of person. I had been hearing people saying how car and driver was biased but I was like ehh probably not, until I read this article.

Pretty much the entire time they compare only the Porsche 911 turbo to the GT-R and don't really mention the M3 at all and it comes out on-top? WTF? Just looking at the stats, the M3 is obviously outpowered, outhandled, and has a way lower top speed. The Skyline smoked the M3 so badly that they didn't even bother posting up a time for the M3's best laptime, they just said the GT-R was the fastest.

They said Nissan aimed the GT-R at Ferrari? WTF??? Last time I thought everyone was comparing it to the Porsche 911 Turbo? Nothing but talking crap on the GT-R, read what they said on the M3, nothing but praises. They go on to say in the end that they all wish they could drive a Lotus Elise as a daily driver... and yet they were bitching about the GT-R's road nooise, and firm ride? OK....

They even said "Every other manufacturer should give up on building their own cars and jsut make M3's instead." haha WOW, ok I'm done with my venting. :D

Cliff Notes- BMW M3 is the best car in the world, no car can match it, it is the best. NOT

Yea its BS. I dont like car and driver because they have a bunch of old farts that all they want is comfort and shit, they should just drive a buick. But i believe there is a thread about this already.
