This past year I've had several people express interest in a prefabbed dual walbro setup. So I'm looking to see if this is something worthwhile for us to make and also what kind of price point would seem fair. Keep in mind that the walbros alone are about ~90 a piece. Also I do know that some are going to say to go Aeromotive or Weldon but please leave that out I'm looking for those with interest in a very easy and prefabbed setup that'll be as easy as doing a single walbro. Thanks!

like what a Y fitting?

You'll overheat the pumps pretty hard trying to run it into a Y fitting.

Probably be better off with a single -8 and the 340lph out of the Ford GT.

I always thought dual walbro set ups had individual fuel lines going into the fual rail with a center return line. Running 2 pumps into the 5/16 fuel lines would be kinda weird.

Wouldn't a GTR or Z32 TT pump be more reliable?

better yet the bosch 325lph (nismo is 276 aka 125% more than stock gtr/z32)

Might someone tell me why they would need two?

I mean, how many people are running hella hp?

I'm really not concerned about the people who don't need them as that's a very easy problem to fix. I'll just get them to go with a single and of course this is for high hp guys. Also, yes I know several 500whp+ members of this board and others as well as people looking to go that route so that's not an issue. I'm not expecting to sell 100 a month just a few here and there was all I was asking.

By the way this is for brackets and the assembly already setup so you can drop it in and go without having to fabricate custom brackets. Also this will contain the whole Y fitting or individual lines which would be up to your discretion which way you wanted to go.

I'm definitely interested in this setup. I'm currently on a mission to switch over to E85 and a dual walbro pump setup would do nicely! Are pumps included and what kind of price range are we talking about? Would there be any down time?

I always wanted to do a dual in tank pump setup. I know the evo's have some really nice ones. I'm in for 1 for sure, maybe 2 more if there really nice and the price is right!

I would be interested if you were using twin 300's or better, Individual feed lines and a single return.

Lol this is a gauging interest thread not a picture thread where I show off my work. I'll try and find some pictures of our RB26 car and the dual in tanks that we did for that. As far as the others, thanks for your response. I know theres a need for something like this and just wanted to make sure of it beforehand.

Also there wouldn't be any downtime and we can customize the lines and setup however you want. Again this was just a "Gauging Interest" thread and I will post some pictures soon but I wanted to see if there was any interest in producing a couple of dozen in tank units before I did so.

We can definitely work on something like this or dual bosch 044's. There's many different routes with the Walbros being the least expensive and we've had no issues with the dual walbro setups that we've used in the past so its an attractive option for some of us high hp guys. Thanks for the feedback thus far.

Two separate lines to a dual in, single return FPR would be the way to go - shouldn't be too expensive. An extra $100 for the pump, and extra steel hardline, some fab work, and a $150 Aeromotive FPR.

^^^Thats a sick ass setup! Got me droolin!

What your opinion on running an adjustable boost activated switch for the 2nd pump? I didn't plan on running dual pumps all the time, only when i'm above a certain boost level. Do nissans have fuel pump "cycle duty" like wrx's and evo's?

umsports

That's fine to do but I'd prefer to keep it simple and have them both running at the same time. Sure it may effect longevity to a degree but we've done this for a while and have yet to have a single issue. If a Walbro is going to fail 95% of the time it does so right out of the box and a lot of issues that people have reported turned out to be knock off fuel pumps which means pay the extra $5-10 and get it from a trusted source. Cycle duty? Help me understand what you're asking and I'm sure I can give you an appropriate answer.

Thanks for all the feedback. I've got a dozen or so PM's about this so we'll go ahead and make a handful and see how it goes from there.
