My rear brake piston rubber came off by the piston where you screw in? Is it possible to put this rubber boot back in? I tried but it doesnt seem to work.
Thanks

heh.. this happened to me with my old s13 when i was replacing the pads and rotors. nothing should happen but some brake fluid could leak out possibly. nothing crazy.

But you didnt answer my question!:loco: How did you fix your problem? Were you able to put back the boot or you had to replace the whole unit?

It's a dust boot, protects your piston and seal from dirt.
My car is missing one, but the caliper isn't seized yet so i haven't replaced it.
I just don't give a fuck though.

its not going to screw anything up, i ran my car with the ripped boots and it was fine.

My boot is complete off and brake fluid poured all over. So your saying my brake will still work without the boot covering/sealing the brake fluid from escaping? Because I cant think how this is possible not havent the rubber seal??????????????????????

Yeah same as above. If you are really worried just nab a Junk yard caliper. I had a piston seize on me at 90mph...made for an awkward stop :( It locked down on the rotor so hard that it made the rotor rip off the hub...blah :( GOOD LUCK!!

up to you.. it could seize if something gets into the caliper. but like i said i ripped my boots to shreds and drove around for 10k with no problems before i sold it. next time spray some lubricant onto the piston so the rubber can turn without getting caught.
its like a dry dick going into a dry pussy bro that shit dont work... :cj:
