I think it looks HOT with 18s.... theres some things id change, does look like poor fitment...

You know what I don't like is how fiberglass or at least poor quality one is so flimsy looking :( :( When painted it has this shattered reflection look....

the truth! you can tell the difference compared to AAS kit. fitment on the J-Blood is top notch. just to be on topic, here's my origin stream kit+ origin type II hood. i forgot the price. fitment wasn't on point for the fenders, but the shop worked on it and it came out better.

can we also talk about hoods while we are at it?
I just picked up a Origin lab Stylish kit for the 180sx. got mine from Phase II motorsports. also picked up a origin tye 1 hood. although i dont recommend the hood. from basic fitting, i can see it sits on the valve cover of my SR. i have to take off the mesh that comes with the hood or greatly bow it out of the way.
when its all on and painted, it should look something like the pic, but the hood will be painted to match the car, and im going with a red like the vertex car has!

C-West front with Vertex sides and rear, gotten through Mike @ iDesigns (widegts on here). Fitment is incredibly good on the sides and rear, and pretty damn good on the front. Naturally, I had to cut the bumper to fit my intercooler and piping, but it fits around the headlights very well and only needs a little work around the fenders. Anyone with body experience could get it to look very good.

Origin Stream sides and rear are the same as the Stylish. The only difference is the front bumper. That's what makes the Stream different.

I totally understand this statement. My chasis is screwy as well. It has been hit a few times, but I have measured everything I can think of, with the direction of the body guy next door, and everything checks out square within less than 1/16" from front to back. My god damn wide fenders STILL don't fit even, like 3/8" or so from even! WTF!!!!! Time for a new chasis, but it keeps me at the track so screw it.

I agree. The pics don't always show it, but because of the way the bumper 'slants' inward as it goes down, and the large 'splitter' on the bottom, you gotta have your shit low to not look like a total jackass.

Thanks Bro, The Fenders are B-majic 20mm front and 30mm rear, soon to be 50mm rear and different fronts
The hood is M-sport[and is for sale:naughty:]
I will be able to take neg camber out with the 50mm rears,it smokes the tires in 1st and 2nd so I want all the tire contact in back I can get
The Sparco gas door was molded in and I will do that with the new fenders also

Yeah my bad. What I like about that kit is the way that the front and rear fender are balanced and proprely fitted in contrast to the side skirt... thats whats awesome about it, but i dont like the outwards extrusion of the bumpers

i think that bn widebody blister kit looks ridiculous! makes me want to throwp up when i see it. why spend the extra money when you can just roll and/or pull your fenders? that's just my opinion but i've spent 150 bucks just to pull and roll my fronts and rears. when 20mm fenders for the front are what 200-300 bucks alone.

Could be the veilside flush light kit, but its no longer available, its been discontinued, its what's in my avatar pic.

Real 300zx conversion looks ugly just so you know.

There's also the east bear conversion which imho i dont like, and the abflug one, which is nice, its like the one i have with circular lights (veilside flushlight kit) but instead its rectangular lights... and i think its also discontinued, doesn't look as nice as veilside's kit imho.

the truth! You can tell the difference compared to aas kit. Fitment on the j-blood is top notch. Just to be on topic, here's my origin stream kit+ origin type ii hood. I forgot the price. Fitment wasn't on point for the fenders, but the shop worked on it and it came out better.

I'm going to get an S15 conversion kit for my future 180sx and need some insight on mixing different body parts

I'm thinking OEM style N1 for the front from body-kitz.com

I've looked around on alot of body kit websites to get the Silvia front end of that Msports kit, but all i could find was the rear bumper and side skirts. Ive already tried grounddynamics.com and body-kitz.com and all that but no luck. anyone got anything?

And where can one just throw msport aero in a shopping cart online, and pay to have it shipped to their door. I live in Cali and have not found anyone that sells msports.

I've found 2 Australian sites that sell it but that's aus. I know someone out here can get that shit!

With so many JDM aero makers opening the doors to US warehouses and/or having big name shops (WestCo Nissan for example) selling their products, it seems silly to have to actually import the shit yourself now-days.

I guess Msport is one of the ones that hasn't made it easy on us yet - but URAS, Origin, Vertex, etc can all be bought easily here in the states and picked up in Socal!

I don't even know if they are in business anymore but I got my authentic MSport front bumper from Rare Trick like almost three years ago. They had it in stock too :wiggle:

I would've gotten another INGS front, but i was impatient.

the truth! you can tell the difference compared to AAS kit. fitment on the J-Blood is top notch. just to be on topic, here's my origin stream kit+ origin type II hood. i forgot the price. fitment wasn't on point for the fenders, but the shop worked on it and it came out better.

i sold my origin stylish fc kit to some guy cuz i needed cash.. spent the day fixing/sanding the blemishes and cracks in it from shipping cuz he was sayin he needed a kit cuz he was gonna get his car painted asap and wanted the kit ready for his car... and when he was leaving, he said he was gonna get someone to replicate it ...

i felt bad after that.. really bad.... that was a rare kit... i didnt think this fucker was gonna get it replicated... so i dunno if he really was planin to copy it or put it on his car =(

Please, I actually have Weapons on my car, but if you're asking $35 grand for a car, it better not have a $600 set of wheels on it.

The main point was the hood, since this is "the body kit thread." And how it looks like ass.

What's the point of the knockoff Kouki 180SX stuff? Sure it's cheaper, but it's also not urethane so it's just gonna explode eventually. Why not just save and get the real deal and then have it last longer?
