So i swapped 30mm aluminum 300zx calipers and rotors onto my car 90 240sx and upgraded to a 1 1/16 bmc. I installed the proper flair fitting and bled all the brakes with the bleeders at the top. I drove the car around and it stops ok for normal driving. The pedal has good feel and then kind of goes spongy. I re-bled the brakes again thinking there might be a little air left in the lines. I did this and the front brakes fluid was a nasty brown color so i bleed them until I got clear fluid coming out. I drove around again and the brakes feel a bit better but their is no way that the fronts have enough to even lock up and the braking isnt as good as i feel it should be. Does anyone have any insight or have any of you had this problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
