Right now, My passenger side keylock is not there. So I was thinking about how I might be able to close it. What do you think the best way to do this will be?

Im not going to ever use my passenger side keyhole, so no I dont wanna go buy one at a salvage yard.

my handles are intact, just the keyhole = Empty. When I bought the car it never had a passenger door key lock.

just hit a junkyard and get new handles w/ locks??

or if your set on shaving them off, then itd be wise to pull the door panel, get inside the door, put in a filler panel behind the hole where the lock was, ie weld in the panel, adhesive ect. then filler over that.

if you just slapped bondo in the hole it will crack and fall out 1 day.

Welded panel > Bondo

New handle, lock, and key > Shaved

well it'd be better to get the metal as close to the original shape/plane as the piece you're filling.

using a washer can fill up a key hole pretty easily..and then just fill in the hole in the washer, with weld. smooth that out as much as you can (a grinder, or file if a grinder isnt avai.)

then after all that....small amount of plastic to smooth out the body.
