Selling 02 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V road racer. Chassis is not bent and condition of the car is exactly as shown in the pictures below. Car is currently completely assembled in case someone wants to buy the car outright. However, it will be disassembled should someone want the chassis only. Will not part the car out until chassis is sold so that the option to sell the car outright remains possible.

Running car w/ SR20VE spare motor and spare Nismo Wheels: $8500
Running car w/ no spares: $6000
Complete Car w/out engine or tranny: $4500
Rolling Chassis w/ lexan, Koni's, and springs: $3800

Caging a car is approximately $2-$3k nowadays unless you can weld or know someone on the inside. And that's before painting. The shocks are worth approximately $3k new. With this car for your getting alot of value. Not to mention the time you would save by getting a car that's already done -- or at least close to being done. That means more track time and less waiting/wrenching.

That's what I thought so I figure this thing would sell fairly quickly. As you can see this thing is still for sale. :-/

I'm practically giving this thing away. Any takers?

Cool car. What are the rest of the spec's on the car?
Brakes, other suspension parts. Chassie mod's besides the cage? Motor/Trans spec's and what Class was it built for?

-Paul =)

Well consider what it would take to buy a Spec and create this setup with it...then add in labor (if your not inclined to do so), and would be quite a bit. Even if you were good about building/tuning, it would cost a decent amount...If I had the money I would give him $7-8K at minimum (considering it was without any issues)
Hey John, could you provide a list of mods, that would help answer a lot of questions people may have
This is part of an email to one of my perspective buyers. It provides alot of detail:

Here are some links I think you will find helpful. It gives some specs on the car. Please DO NOT be taken aback by the $17K asking price as my asking price has gone down considerably since then.

Currently the car is complete and runs. It does not have a seat as I have sold it earlier.

The build was finally completed in mid 2005. It was originally built to race in the now defunct SE-R Cup series. At the same time Performance Touring was created. Since the SE-R Cup no longer existed I went to PT. It was classified using the 2005-2006 rule set. The car still has a log book.
Given the changes in the current rule set and no changes are made to the car, it would now would be in PTC (previously was classified in PTB).

The car last ran in 2006 and has been sitting in the garage since. There has been no development on the car since 2006.

Like I said in the OP, caging a car is approximately $2-$3k nowadays unless you can weld or know someone on the inside. And that's before painting. The shocks are worth approximately $3k new. With this car for your getting alot of value. Not to mention the time you would save by getting a car that's already done -- or at least close to being done. That means more track time and less waiting/wrenching.

I've sent you some links below from various other forums. They're just a couple of links where the car has been vouched by some well known club racers for NASA who has seen the car personally -- namely Mike Kojima (Nissan Guru) and Andre Hartanto (Honda Challenge H1 National Champion 2006). I've also included some links where people have commented on the car/deal.
