auto to 5speed

98 s14 ka24de...the car had a auto to 5 speed swap..i switced the ecu to a 5 speed obdII ecu...but there are still check engine light....i think something with evaporitive system, rear o2..but yea if anyone knows let me know thanks...

there are a bunch of things to change, the info is online in several places.
there can be additional issues to remedy if your new ecu is from a different year than your chassis.
SEARCH is your friend.

^^yeah the ecu is from 96 5spd obdII and on a 98 ka24de

I believe 98 can only use 98 ecu, 97 can use 97 and 98. 96 can only use 96 and 97. Don't know if correct though. Its been over a year since I did my 5 speed swap.

The 97-98 ECUs need two wires moved to run in a 95-96, and vice versa. Everything else is the same.
