That offset is usually for front wheel drive cars.

sell those pieces of crap and use the money from the sale + more that you've saved and purchase rims that WILL fit.

if you use those rims with that disgustinly high offset, you prob will have to use a spacer if you have coils...and then if you use a spacer, youw ill have to use longer studs, which will cost additional money.....so just save up for decent rims.

this says a lot about the question.

and do you even know what spacers are for?

just because im from mexico that does not mean i dont know waht a spacer is , im taking this because of the wide and the offset , talking about other stuff a friend of mine needs a clutch for his sr20 non turbo on his s14 , any page that you recomend ?

The point they are making is that spacer = evil. To make it fit right, you will need a spacer that is so big, that you would could consider it a rim in itself. Plus could you imagine the size of the studs you would need. Not long enough at all. Get rid of those rims. I can't imagine they look good anyways. Probably like some Konig Tantrums or something.. As for any other help. If you don't listen to this help, why bother giving you any more. Sorry to give the bad news. Good luck on the new rim hunt.

maybe a little late, but doesn't mexico usually have fitment issues where the wheels stick out too much?

if i get pinked, i did it for the lulz.

spoke design affects bbk clearance more than offset. is the spoke design concave or flat...many variables.

"We're not cholos, we're lowrider holmes" - my fav quote from some low budget movie.

but seriously, offset questions are dumb, no wonder you get shit for asking. There is a HUGE thread with pictures of wheel size and fitment - check into it.

This thread doesn't need locked, it needs to be deleted for the blatant racism. I though we were here to help each other. Seriously, wtf...

i dont see how taniguchi's comment was in any means racist. you guys are really sensitive. he could have easily pointed out to an asain person that japanese people always have gangster ass fitment on any car and it would have been cool.

but yea, like sir said offset questions pop up 5 times a day on this forum and they all end with the same post which is always a link to the search section. there are multiple threads that show how different offsets, width, and size fit on each generation of S chassis.

on an s14, you'll want an offset more along the lines of 17x9 +17, which is just about the same as 17x8 +5. soo a 40 mil spacer would make it fit right, but good luck finding studs, good luck finding the actual spacers. just getting 18's wont make them fit any better.

my suggestion is to sell the nasty offset wheels, and then spend the money on a decent set of 17x9's.
and as mentioned, there are 2 threads that could help you, both are sticky.
the wheel fitment whore thread, in chat,
and the offset 101 thread, in tech.

ok some people need to chill with the "racist" card. it was a damn joke.

to answer your question, no you will probably not need a spacer to make them fit, at most maybe a 5mm /endthread

You have to buy a different car to make them fit.

8J rims, i'd shoot for something in the +0 offset. So if you decide to keep those rims, you'd need atleast 30mm spacers to make them look decent.

17x8 +45.

Shit, your car is going to tip over with those pizza cutters.

This shit is whack. There should be no discussion about 17x8 +45 whee;s ever on Zilvia.

It don't mix like two dicks and no bitch. You'll find yourself in serious shit.
