i am currently searching this, but no luck yet, i dont have any gauge lights, all the gauges are working fine, except the gas gauge, (far below empty), ive checked the fuses the are all good, i dont know if it matters but the car has no radio? a fsm would be great but cant find one, anybody got any ideas?
Might be reaching but did you check the dimmer switch? I know someone who was pissed for about 10mins after an cluster swap for this reason.
Did it work before? If so what did you change?

check the wires behind where the radio would be. My bet is the illumination wire could have grounded out or something causing the dash light to short out. Double check all your fuses too...

I'm willing to bet it's your TCU as well. Had a similar issue awhile back. I still have 2 more TCUs that I bought from the junkyard just incase they were faulty. All checked out good and my gauge cluster lights work perfectly.
If you're interested in buying one I can sell at $5 plus shipping.

I'm pretty new to this forum stuff but yeah i've been struggling with the same issues that others have posted about their parking lights not functioning when they turn on their headlughts. I thought it was my alarm but i disconnected that and I checked out all the light bulbs and still the fuses burned out one after the other. Still have those tcu's for sale?

So I've been looking through the forums and I have come to a conclusion that it is probably the tcu, but umm I saw smoke coming from the dash and immediately turned off the car. I realized I had accidentally put a 25 amp fuse in a 10 amp spot will that affect anything? Or is there a bigger problem for me to worry about? Anyway, this is for a 95 s14.
