I asked this question before but no one really answer my question..

I have a Stock KADE with 2.5" HKS Mid pipe with catalytic, and plan to hook up a 3" greddy dual end striaght. I want to keep up with the low end torque for the NA KA so question is, is it the 3" striaght end going to took the torque away? or going to stay the same as the 2.5" mid out to the 3" end.

I would think you should be fine.

I would think you should be fine.

Yeah thought about that too.. so the mid with cata gave the air flow in and out to keep the power for NA correct??

But thing is going to be damn loud... should it??

thats almost exactly what i did. i kept my 2.5inch hks mid and ran 3inch custom stainless axle back. (straight pipes though). i felt a little bit of a loss in torque. could just be in my mind.

from what a lot of peoples dyno runs with a KA, 3" straight made more torque and power then 2.5" overall, not just peak if you do a little search i think you can find those

also i don't remember what the exact confirmation was on backpressure=torque as a myth or not but if someone can link some facts supported by evidence would be cool
