i just bought an 89 s13 and i want to go the sr20det route... i want to know where i can find one and which one is best for my car... i was thinking of going with the s15 sr20det whith a blitz turbo with hks bov so should i just get a de and buy everything else seprate or what...

You definitely need to search. It sounds like someone told you the coolest motor was the s15 or you think it is because it came in the last Silvia made. Either way buy an s13 redtop or blacktop and build it up to where you want it. It's the cheapest and most logical way to go unless you are a big baller with endless money or you are a really patient person who plans on saving up for a couple of years.

Or you could go the rb direction.

I would definately go w/ redtop. I was up in willow springs last weekend and there was an s13 w/ a redtop hooked up.... dam that car was kicken ass. At the begining when i heard it and saw it on the track that shit sounded like it had a RB but then found out he had an SR under the hood. Bottom line stick w/ an SR those motors can do serious damage.

you could even just stick with the stock DE motor and put boost through that. or maybe stick a z28 motor in the 240. lol. you can put whatever motor you want in the car, any one of them has potential. gluck with whatever you decide on
