Things were fine until I washed my engine bay. Shortly after, (you know, drying the car and a short drive), I stopped again to check the tires and that's when it happened. It slowly idled down and then slowly, smoothly, died. Since I can't get it to turn over. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> The only things that changed are, I put in some STP fuel injector cleaner and then the washing the bottom side of the engine bay, (the cross member and mounts). Does anyone have any ideas? I've already checked the fuses, changed out the crank angle sensor and checked the timing belt. Fuses are good, timing belt's intact and the crank angle sensor is good. I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

ok, so you are saying the engine won't turn over at all, the same as if you had disconnected the battery? If that's the case, I would check the battery connections. If it is cranking and doesn't start (seems much more likely to me) Then it might be a wet distributer or something like that.
I can't think of any good reason, other then the battery being dead or not hooked up, for why the starter won't turn. If you can't find anything else and you check it with another battery that you know is good, then you'll have to look into replacing the starter

If I had a distributor, I'd consider it. I'm running with a CA19DET. I actually went over it and talked with some people and the fuel pump wasn't charging like it should. I checked things out and the fuses 'were' good. Well, I got a hold of a 300Z fuel pump to replace my BBK I was using. Well, I got it in after some wrestling and still nothing. I swapped out the computers and still nothing. One last time, I went back over the fuses and it turns out the fuse 'was' blown. I changed it out and it fired right up. I then tried to lean things out with the SAFC but it still ran a little 'too rich' and eventually died again!? I went to check things out this time and the fuel pump connecitons, the hoses are old and shot. So, now I got fuel all over the cover and with all the wrestling around to get it in, one of the connections broke loose. So, right now I'm waiting for things to dry off, then I'm gonna replace the hoses and re-solder the connection and I should be good. Thanks for the tips, I should have passed on some more info when I made the post. Thanks though..

HAHA Looks like you got that Z pump for nothing! Oh well, hopefully you didn't toss the old one. I wish I'd know it was just a fuse.. I have a bazillion of them. Are you gonna come back to the dealership to get new hoses or will you just get some generic tubing?
