insurance question

i dont have full collision coverage..  and I was worried that if I get hit by somebody else would it be the end of my s14??  Or is it a matter of there insurance!? The reason I brought this up is cause I almost got hit last night….. and I felt sad that I wouldnt have my 240 anymore… and its been bothering me a lot since last night…. Just a quick answer is all I need… sorry if its a stupid question..

If you get hit  by somebody who  have insurance you'll be ok, but if you get hit by somebody who doesn't you'll have to pay to fix it, unless you work something out with whoever hit your car.  that's as far as I know.

it's really easy.  it sounds like you have liability.

if you are in an accident, and you are at falut, you have to fix your own damages, and the insurance will fix the other party car.  so you don't have to pay for the other party's damage/pain/suffering.

but say someone hits you, their insurance company have to pay for your damages, because the lowest insurance avaliable is liability.

basically if you are not at falut, u'll usually get your car fixed.

but say, you are in an accient, and you are not at falut and the other party have no insurance at all, than sue him/her.

and there's always whacked out situations where no party is at falut due to some whaco weather condtions, etc.  than you are outta luck.
