i used to have them when i was young and foolish, save and get coils. you'll realize this later though... i know the excuses... "roads too bumpy, dont need it too low etc..." it wont matter. get coils. but heres pics of how crappy my car used to look, while sitting on megans.

your not still running the springs are you?
your action shot in your sig makes you look lower.

Wow you need like a 2.5" drop to even look ok. Get coilovers.

That's stupid.
If you're buying a bike for the MPG to save money, get the bike before car parts so you reap the rewards of better mileage (and therefore more money savings) longer.
That's nothing but a bullshit excuse to buy some shitty parts. Megan springs are worthless.

I can't speak to the quality of the mr springs, which could be junk or could be decent as far as quality goes, but a couple other things to consider- the mr's are a little soft for hardcore uses, but still stiffer than almost all the other lowering coils for us, so you'll need good struts/shocks or else all that $$ you save with your bike will go to replacing dampeners. Also, the "rated" 1.75" drop up front will eat up most of your travel up front, so likely to be bouncy bouncy down the road and shakin the car to peices over potholes unless you use shortened dampeners/decent stops. you can do this with koni's (look around the sr20forum or a couple subaru forums for how-to's, both crowds do this often with great success.), or if you like mixing and matching, koni's out back and bilstein 3000gt inserts (fits like koni's, just shorter) up front could probably work ok at least for a dd. either way though, if you'd like it to work well, it's going to be a lot more financially involved and labor intensive that just dropping in a set of springs on some gr2's and calling it a day. on a positive note, the overall cost should come in a hair under 800 if you skip camber plates, and be pretty fun to kick around with unless you're planning on lots of track time. just my $.02, take it for what it's worth.

I had them on my old rb s13 a while ago.
They are not too harsh as coilovers and are perfect for daily driving

I'd get some used coilovers before that if I just wanted a little better handling car that's lower. I know I'm going to be selling my low mileage K-Sports for way less than $800 here in a few weeks, so I'm sure the OP can find something that'll fit his budget.
If he was thinking of putting these on stock dampers that are 99% sure already blown to bits, then I hope he likes those cheap beds that shake in nasty rent by the hour hotel rooms, because that's about how an S13 with blown shocks and "lowering springs" would ride.
