that swap was easy..just make sure you get the bleeder screw on top..bammo. you have to be a retard to screw it up..anyways, glad you are able to assist people. heh..

there's a lot of documentation on the swap too..

I heard that it better to upgrade the master brake cylinder also when you do the brake conversion. I'm not sure is it necessary or not, but from what i heard is it make the brake pedal feel better when stepping on it or something like that. anyways, anyone please correct me if i was wrong about it &nbsp; <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
P.S: what size of the master brake cylinder have to be change to? because recall from what i have heard, there are 3 different size of it, any idea? thanks

NO the MC upgrade is NOT necessary, all it does is increase pedal response. w/o it the pedal is mushy, but it STILL BRAKES THE SAME.

get the 90 300zx NA 5-speed
it is appro 200 dollars OEM from nissan. i woud get the OME only because Kragen/autozone/pepboys are generic and sometimes rebuilt from a core charge. OEM is high quality brand new. i've heard that the other ones usually break after a year or so.

300z master cylinder is a wise choice.

Actually, the 300ZX master cylinder is a terrible choice if you only upgrade the front brakes. &nbsp; The proportioning built into the 300ZX master cylinder is more front-biased than the 240SX master cylinder, the result is that the fronts will lock up long before the rears, possibly resulting in a spin under hard braking.

The '89-'96 non-ABS master cylinder (7/8") will work fine with 300ZX fronts and 240SX rears. &nbsp; The 15/16" MC that came in ABS equipped cars and all '97-'98s is even better.
