anyone know where i can get tires mounted for cheap? anyone got deals or something? im in torrance. i just got quoted 120 somewhat bucks for mounting tires that i already have? a little outrageous for me.

just call up random tireshops that are close to you, firestone does it for $10 just mounting a tire tho, not balance

A place by my house mount and balance for 40$ all 4 tires. CHEAP!! it is by Glendora, right next to new Costco.

i'd ask arnel the manager at america's tire in carson off avalon exit on the 405 near the mall.

his crew does a good job, and does minimal damage to the wheel if at all in most cases. He's who the NSXprime and S2ki forum use because they generally are anal about damage to their expensive wheels. Arnel charges 15-20$ a tire depends on size

Carson is roughly 5-10 minutes from torrance.

Also i use Performance Tire on sepulveda between hawthorne and lomita blvd near gable house bowling alley, my friend David Fox owns the place and they can do it for a fair price. iirc 12-15$ a tire. They are very fast but their installer are a bit rough on wheels w/ no lip.

120 is a little high, compared to the 3rd place i use it's cheap: Status Autodesign which is owned by my friend David Chen and his partner Rick. They charge 200$ for mount/ dismount and balance. But then again they work only on high end cars like ferrari, Lambo, and german cars generally. They do a good job and their installer gillbert is real nice too.

loose wheels and tires i'll mount, balance for $7.50 each. if i have to dismount the old tires its an extra $5 per dismount. we use european machines...there is no damaging of wheels. my crew is well trained and have decades of experience.

I dont know about you guys, I cant afford to replace a $1500 3 piece wheel if we scratch it.

That the same price i give my body shop accounts and dealers. I take care of tires and alignments from Hi tech auto collision, lambo of oc and the way to sterling bmw/audi/land rover/bentley. got the 55 fwy on lock son!

yea shop around, you can get it from 30-40 mount and balance for all 4
