I want to know have anyone weld up the a 2.5" mid pipe with 3" inlet/outlet?? FOR s13

I plan to buy Aspec's Blastpipes and weld up with my current HKS Hi-power 2.5" mid pipe, sure the muffler shop will make it fit but question is, are they going to be loud? and still hold up the maintain overall torque for the NA KADE with the 3" outlet?

People might ask why I wanna cut off the HKS...:loco:

-Dont wanna get pull over for BIG AS* muffler (HKS)

is it going to be loud.......yes.
why not just ask the muffler shop to make some piping and weld a flange so you can switch them if you wanted to instead of just cutting the hks.

^^ thats the route i would go. i plan to do that with a more quite muffler so i wont suffer the 3in straight pipe on long trips and late nite creeps hehehehe

^^ Thanks by the way that is what i though is going be loud because there is no muffler in the end.

What about putting the Greddy/Trust dual cat back at the end?
and anyone have Greddy/Trust Daul Cat Back on KADE??

Its gonna be decently loud. You're gonna get pulled over more with the Blastpipes than the HKS muffler just because it'll be louder.
