View Full Version : ** GENUINE ITALIANLEATHER SHIFT/EBRAKE BOOTS **

RedlineGoods.com

I'm selling sets of genuine, top grade Italian leather shifter and emergency brake boots for the S13 and the S14. Great for your own car and a great present for every owner!

The leather is much thicker than the stock vinyl, which makes them form much nicer and gives you a great feel. They are great to look at, very neat to touch and definitely add style and identity to your car's interior.

The shape is an exact copy of the OEM boots, including all details! They will fit like OEM (just drop them right into your stock mounting location) but look WAY BETTER! Plus, they WILL NOT peel off like the OEMs do!

They are available in BLACK or WHITE leather and ANY COLOR stitching - FREE OF EXTRA CHARGE.

And, they're really affordable! They're only $60 SHIPPED TO YOUR DOOR!

Please take a look at these pictures. Especially, notice the CUSTOM MADE e-brake boot, which DID NOT EXIST for this car before now!

It will only take you about 15 minutes to install them. A detailed installation instruction will be provided with the purchase - all you need is a philips screwdriver!

You WILL receive AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE along with your boots. It is my business policy to answer all emails within 1 business day and to ship all boots within 3 business days!

Please check my website for more information about my quality product, great customer service and extensive customer references - http://www.redlinegoods.com.

I will accept payment via Money Orders/Cashiers Checks, Personal Checks and (preferred) PayPal.

It will be of no extra charge if you choose to further customize your interior with a custom colored thread. In that case, please check the website for a color chart from which you can make your selection.

I'll be more than happy to answer all your questions.

Thanks for reading and have a great day,

Here's what some of my previous customers have to say about my product and service:

They look great and I had no problem installing them! They blow the doors off the stock boots. My brother was always complaining about how bad the factory boots looked ... peeling and flaking. When he got in my car after I installed the new ... he said WOW those look good.

Thank you for the great deal!
David

Hi,

I got my boots on Thursday. They look great, and look like they'll last a lot longer than the stock ones. I haven't insatlled them yet but it looks like it'll be easy. Now I need to get a better looking shifter knob to match these cool looking boots.
And thanks for the awsome customer service. I've ordered stuff off the web before and have never got service even close to what you provide. You should start selling performance parts. I will highly recomend you to anyone I hear of looking for shifter boots.

Thanks again,
Dave

------
I received my boots a couple of days ago and installed them the same day. They look, feel, and smell so much better than the OE vinyl stuff. The service you provide is also excellent and very organized. The boots were everything that you said they would be and I am very impressed with how great they look once installed. Feel free to post this message and send any people my way that have any doubts or questions about your great product.

Hello,

I finally got enough free time to install the boots yesterday and I'm pleased by how they turned out. Much nicer than my worn stock ones.

I'd be happy to be a reference for you in the future for perspective customers.

Cheers
Tony

I just installed your boots today and they look great. I love the feel of the thick leather and the shine it give off. What really surprised me is was the fact it held my parking break handle snug and stopped it from rattling.

Thanks again.
Steve

Yes, I got them, even put them in the other day when I was at home. They look great, fit perfect, and even with my little mechanical ability, got them in with no problem. Thanks a lot, and if anyone ever asks for some references, just let me know.

a few additional bits of information:

Shipping charge is the same for North America (US and Canada), European Union and Australia/New Zealand.

Here's a rundown of the pricing for the S13/S14 boots:

Shift&ebrake boot set - $60 shipped!

Shifter or ebrake boot - $35 shipped!

Please check our website http://boots.hypermart.net for more information. We provide this product for more and more cars (Z cars, Sentras, 240SX, RX7) and many more are coming by the end of this year!

Thanks a lot and have a great day,

hey I was working on my car and I accidently ripped the leather cover that was baseball stitched, just like your boots, over my stock shift knob. I really liked it, it kept my knob warm in winter and felt good... can you do custom work, like could I send my knob to you and get it stitched back up with new leather (maybe matching the boots if I bought a set?)
just curious.. and what would the price be?

Hi,

I'm sorry, but I don't normally do shift knobs. It's a completely different ball game from shift boots.

If you can send me some pictures of what the cover looks like though, I might be able to have a more positive answer to your question.

Thanks,
Maciek

Hello,

I'm located in Poland and that's where the boots are shipped from, but I have a partner in the US (Columbus, OH) who accepts checks and money orders.

Sorry for a delayed reply but I was away from town for the last few days.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for the positive feedback (and for trusting me with your order in the first place!). I would like to wish all my previous and future customers all the best, lots of success, mod money and love for 2003.

I meant to post this a couple weeks ago, but I got my boots and they look and feel great, I find myself doing silly things like looking at the shifter when I shift now, but I think that will go away sometime...

I received and installed my shift boot last week and they DIDN'T FIT! I ordered them directly from your website and filled everything out very carefully. The boots only had four holes, they need 6-8 or something. In addition, the holes that existed were not all in the right places. I had to spend over an hour with a punch awl making the correct holes. I also had to cut gussets into the edges to avoid overlapping. The final complaint is that I specified my username in my order and did not receive any $5 discount. Then the top ring would not allow enough clearance for the factory knob with the thicker material around it. Maybe you sent me the wrong one, but I ordered the right one. Yes, the leather was pretty nice, but not worth $35! I had to punch holes, break pins, fit and re-fit, cut, glue, clamp, and use it without the top ring. I am a pretty skilled craftsperson, so don't write this off as my mistake/stupidity. The boots really did suck that bad. Booooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I'm really, really sorry about your problems. Let me refer to both problems that you mentioned.

1. About the special deal for Zilvia.net members, it specifies very clearly on my ordering page, that the upper PayPal button is automatically going to calculate the total basing on the product chosen. Therefore it is NOT going to take into account the special deals I have for members of car forums. That's what the LOWER PayPal button is for, which is labeled VERY CLEARLY and it WILL allow you to specify price and product manually.

I have missed your note saying that you come from a car forum (putting that note in DOES NOT recalculate the price though since you have used the UPPER button) and you are indeed eligible for a reimbursement of $5. It will be sent to your PayPal account shortly.

2. What can I say? We send out about 50 sets of boots per week and mistakes do happen. Although we try hard to carefully check all boots we ship out. I will gladly replace the faulty shift boot if you can send it back to me. I believe I know what the problem is. When I typed your order into my Excel spreadsheet I mistakenly put in that it's for a S13, while in fact your order a boot for an S14. They can be made to fit though, just as you did, the only difference is at the bottom.

Well, it's up to you. The $5 goes out ASAP anyway, but please let me know what form of settling this would you prefer. You can either send me the old boot and get a new, correct one(I will reimburse you for shipping the old boot back). I can also negotiate other forms of reimbursement, should that be your preference. I did make a mistake with your order and I admit it.

Since you made it a public affair however, I would really appreciate it if you could publicly admit that I have solved your complaints after I in fact do so.

Thank you for your understanding.

Regards,
Maciek

Thank for the acknowledgement. I really do appreciate the discount after the fact. The boot is installed, it serves its function, quite well I might add. I will hold onto it, as it is now permanently attached to my panel ;) and looks and works all the same. I am sorry for sounding rude, I didn't have the intention of ruining your business. It's just that I have been disappointed many times in my history of buying parts and get angry. It's a done deal as far as I'm concerned. But maybe I will contact you later if you might be able to do something else custom for me. No hard feelings, I make mistakes too, and I work in wholesale too hehe. So, you have saved face, thanks for following through. Uuri

Guys,

That's NOT how I did it!!!

I took a very sharp knife and used it to lift the plastic rings about a milimeter, just enough to be able to grab them with pliers and pull them off... It took me about 1 minute per prong!

Hope that helps!

Guys,

I'd like to know, how many of you would prefer an ebrake boot that goes halfway up the ebrake handle instead of my current design, that covers the whole handle?

Please feel free to chime in with your opinion. If there is demand, I will make another version for the S13/S14!

Here's a pic of what it looks like on a Sentra:

Hi everyone,

There's good news and bad news this time.

The GOOD news is that the halfway ebrake boot is now available. I don't have any pictures yet, but it does look GREAT and I'm sure you'll love it.

The not so good news is that the forum special has been cancelled. The price of a set of boots is, as advertised on my site, $60 shipped for a set or $35 shipped for either boot alone.

I hope that is not a problem, at $60 it's still a steal if you compare my price to the factory price and remember that you're buying a GENUINE TOP GRADE ITALIAN LEATHER set, not a crappy vinyl one that will give out on you in 2 years or so.

Take care and have a great day,
Maciek

Hi,

Since EVERYBODY likes the halfway version better, as of right now, WE'RE NOT MAKING THE OLD VERSION OF THE EBRAKE BOOT.

All orders that haven't shipped to date will receive the half-way boot. As soon as there are pictures available, they will replace the old ones.

Hi,

our ebrake is designed as a simple slip-on, but if the handle you have is much thicker than the stock one, it could be tough. However, if you can measure the difference in girth between stock and the one you have, we could make a larger top opening for you.

Hi,

I'm really sorry for such a late reply, Christmas was crazy and what's worse Zilvia.net stopped sending me emails after you guys post replies to my thread. I'm going to check what's wrong here and fix it to make sure it doesn't happen anymore.

Anyway, answering your question - yes, it is. I'll actually give you $5 off since you had to wait for the response for so long.

Hi everyone,

long time no hear, so I'd like to take this opportunity to post some info about our new, interesting product options.

Click http://www.redlinegoods.com/TwoTone.shtm to read more about our two-toned boots.

Hi,

it looks great. I don't have any pics to show you, but if you have gray seats or trim pieces in your interior, it will match better than black/black.

Hi,

I really really love your E-brake boots(I gotz an auto trans) and was wondering about the compatability with after market E-brake handles,I am in the market for a carbon fiber /red e-brake handle, and I think that the boot and the handle would really set things off nicely

Hey everyone,

we'd like to show off the first pictures we have of a very interesting color
combination: a two-tone black/charcoal shift boot. They look very cool and
elegant, wouldn't you say?

These show a 92-96 Honda Prelude, but naturally you can order this color
combination for ALL the cars we provide our products for - and there is NO
EXTRA CHARGE for a custom job like that!

I just installed my shift boot. Unfortunately, it looks so nice it made me realize how worn the rest of my interior is. :)

Shipped quick, I had my boots in a little over a week. The holes in the boot did require a little coaxing with an awl and a knife, but it still took me less than an hour to install.

<flame>Ohh and if you bitch about how hard it is to install these boots, don't even think about posting in the tech section... </flame>

He sends you instructions with pics and all. Its really easy. Unsnap the shifter trim plate, pop off the shift knob. Unsnap those stupid little metal clips on the underside of the plate. Unhook the shift boot, slide the collar off the shifter. Turn inside out, remove the collar, and then go in reverse. Takes about 15 minutes, 30 if you don't want to break any of those stupid little metal clips.

Hi,

sorry for a late answer, I was away on business. Anyway, the first one is the S14, the second one is the S13. With the S13 boot you could also push it down around the edges to look like in the first pic. It's just the question of how you want it formed.

As for the top of the boot, we recommend re-using the stock trim pieces or, better yet, just mounting the top with a zip-tie. It's can be made very flush with the aftermarket shift knob that way and it's very easy.

As for the bottom of the boot, yes, it requires patience and it's a hassle, but it's not that bad.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to give you guys a quick update on what's going on at www.RedlineGoods.com.

1) We have vastly revamped our color chart (find it here: http://www.redlinegoods.com/clrchart.shtm) to include ACTUAL pictures of the colors of leather and thread that we offer. Those of you who remember our site from before, we used to give you a general idea of the colors you were going to receive. Now, we show ACTUAL PICTURES - and LOTS of them, too! Makes a lot of difference if you're very particular about the colors you want on your boots.

2) We have simplified our shipping processes. Before, we used to ship our boots in a way that they needed to be signed for by the recipient. This was an endless cause of difficulty. Now - no more. They will be just left in your mailbox or on your porch. Much easier and hassle-free!

3) We probably will be forced to raise our prices on individual items as of next month (or the month after next at the latest). Since it takes us almost the same amount of work delivering your orders for a single boot as it does for orders that include two or more, the difference in price between a set of boots (currently $60) and a single boot (currently $35) should be smaller. You can expect an individual shift boot to go up in price to $40 SHIPPED. We will still give out discount codes, for sure, but the base amount will have grown by 12% or so, so after discount you'll be paying the same as today before the discount...

So... if you want a single shift boot, it might be a good idea to order one ASAP.

AND, to make it an easier decision, here is another 10% discount code. Valid for 5 days from midnight, today, all you need to do is paste it into the order form to receive 10% off immediately.

Hello everyone,

The bad news is here. Due to the low dollar exchange rates (which is temporary, I hope and hopefully will get much better once the President has been elected) we are forced to raise our prices on individual items as of the 1st of October.

So... if you want a single shift boot, it's a good idea to order TONIGHT, because as of TOMORROW it will cost 12% more!

AND, to make it an easier decision, here is another 10% discount code. Valid for 5 days from midnight, today, all you need to do is paste it into the order form to receive 10% off immediately.

Hello!

We have some VERY important updates to make, so please read through this short post.

We finally have LIGHT GRAY and MEDIUM GRAY leathers available!

They are fully represented on the color chart at http://www.redlinegoods.com/clrchart.shtm. If you click these new colors you will see sample pictures, including some which compare (on the same picture) all our dark (charcoal), medium and light gray leathers to each other.

We have also totally re-vamped our TWO-TONE page (http://www.redlinegoods.com/TwoTone.shtm) - it now has a list of all the two-tone combinations we have pictures for and if you click the respective item on the list, it will show you sample photos.

As usual, we do NOT charge extra for either of these exciting new leather colors, and the prices are $40 shipped for one boot or $60 shipped for a set of two. Here's another 10% discount code to get those prices down instantly: 28RARR886H6

To whet your appetite, here are some sample pictures of some interesting color combinations!

Hi everybody,

I finally got myself a S14!! She's a beautiful red on black 99, currently almost stock - I've only had time to have the exhaust replaced from the turbo flange to the tip of the muffler. Noticable increase there, but this had only whet my appetite and I'm going for a full 280-300 hp upgrade with FMIC, way more boost, better fuel pump, upgraded intake and some electronics to control all that. So much for power. For now. :)

However, being in the interior upholstery business it would be a shame to NOT tweak the interior a little. So:

1) I've revamped our popular e-brake boot (CUSTOM, NOT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE ELSE!) slightly with a folded and sewn top now designed to simply slip on the rubber handle, no ZIP-tie installs anymore!

2) I've wrapped the ARMREST COVER in leather! It's AWESOME, we used specialised flat elastic to hold it on the stock plastic piece, and it looks GREAT and installs in SECONDS!

There are pictures for both of these items below and, as usual, clicking them will take you straight to our site where you can place your order! Prices are listed at the bottom of the page and I think they are VERY fair considering the uniqueness of these products!
