I think the street drifting and freeway sliding was cool and all...although it kinda promotes wreckless driving and could give people who are about to get their licenses who have been playing need for speed all their lives, an idea of what they want to do.

My friend grew up in Hawaii and came here. Never been there myself...but I think its kinda rude how everyone is just bashing on how Hawaii sucks and everything...they are just like everyone else. I don't talk highly of California, I mean yeah there is a shitload of drifting here in CA but thats it...everything else is people trying to rip you off.

and please, I hate when people can't spell Linkin Park right...it really pisses me off. I love that band, although Numb is a bit played out I have a few selected favorites.

u must understand we dont have anywhere to slide legally. track was closed in 2006, so its been 2 years of amazing street drifting nothing can compare to it,but just haveing a place to slide where u dont have to be on the edge at all times incase we have to bounce would be nice. all u guys in cali dont know what u have tracks are amazing...im so jealous

Yea last event we had was @ aloha stadim parking lot which was nice just because it was a legal event. But our state legislature made sure it was our last event. I'm not saying drifting or racing on the streets is okay because it's not and so many things could go wrong but with no place to practice, it's no wonder why these guys hit the back roads or the freeways late at night.

People dont realize that not everywhere has legal drift events. It's the state fault for not allowing it, because it only forces more people to drift illegally. Government thinks maybe if we ban it, it'll stop. They obviously did not learn from street racing in the 60's and 70's, cause it's still around.

No track means the streets!! No argument there man. If there was no track events in SoCal, we would be in the canyons and streets more. just like skateboarding on private property decresses when you give the kids a skateboard park.
