I am looking at ADR Spades and am wondering what you guys think of ADR rims. I love the VOLK GT-C Design...but don't have the $$ to shell out for the legit.

save your money and do it right the first time... otherwise you'll never be truly happy with your mods.

i have had two sets of adrs. and my dad has them on his mr2 right now. they area great bang for the buck wheel. but come in horible ofsets for RWD.
my dad is getting spacers for the rear on his mr2 to compensate.
but do some searching on size and offset before you decide what to go with.
looks is only part of buyign a wheel.

Adr isnt that bad. My friend has been using a set for 5 years now with no problems. Although the offset is shit for rwd. Looks ok on his car though (2000tiberoun)

ADRs are terrible. I had a set when I was younger and didn't know any better. The finish started cracking on them, they were heavy as hell, and sloppily cast. Fake rivets FTL. So many nice wheels out there, walk away from the ADRS

ADR's on my Leg. Not the greatest wheels in the world but they serve they're purpose and look decent. The offsets do suck for RWD though. My Leg is FWD.
Do what you want. Not everyone can afford a $3500 set of mad tyte JDM wheels (or want to).
I have FN's on my S13 (oh no!) cheap, wide, low offset = win to me. F what other people think.

I'd rather go to Walmart for laser eye surgery then ride on ADRs.
they don't make wheels for our cars

I liked em until my friend hit a curb and smashed the right front...
I have the other 3 for sale right now... $100 picked up.
Currently rocking rota p45r's in bronze:)

like said above...they are heavy and not a very strong wheel. had a set that got bent in normal driving...but then again some thick meaty tires may have been able to prevent that.
good luck on your choice!

Don't do it.They weight a ton and you'll probably end up making your car slower and kill your gas mileage. If you want to go cheap at least get some used brand name wheels that are in good condition.

I had some on a Probe GT back in 02. I got in a wreck, hit the curb and they shattered.
But they looked ok on the car and were cheep.
Then again i had some TE37s and they got jacked, even with wheel locks.
I say go somewhere middle of the road.

Seriously if you are already convinced that you want those wheels because your low on cash.
Then just go buy it.
Why do you have to make a thread about it, asking for approval when you know majority of the people on here are going to bash you on it.
Don't tell no one and no one will care.
I'm tired of these threads.
Seriously.
Good luck in whatever you choose.
Take care.

they're not made out of concrete, its not going to cause his car to drop 90hp and get 3mpg.
at the end of the day though, who cares what a forum thinks. I'm still looking for a set of Ronal Bears

That's exactly why you shouldn't buy them.
