Dude, spend more than 2k on your SR. TRUST ME. I had 2k from a car accident when I blew my SOHC...bought a blacktop SR for 2k. I still needed the intercooler, radiator, I used the old clutch but it lasted me about 2 months, basically all the little things to make your engine good.

Plan on at LEAST $2,500. Make sure your cooling system is perfect, clean it up, new radiator, thermostat, water pump, etc.

I got my blacktop SR20 for my S13 from a guy named Eric, "driftdonkey" was his forum name. He is located in San Diego, definetly a cool guy.
