i just had a quick question for you guys...
so i have a T28 turbo on my stock redtop, do i have to get a Z32 maf and bigger injectors? i already have a 255 walbro fuel pump and i still gotta get a fuel pressure regulator... also do i have to re-tune my ecu? is there anything else i would need? heres my basic set up:
Sr redtop
-arp headstuds
-fmic
-T28 w/ stainless steel lines
-frsport clocking kit
-hks wastegate
-walbro 255

no you dont have to use the Z32 or bigger injectors
your stock ECU and injectors will be fine just keep you boost around or under 12psi and you should be good. You can hit it at 14psi but only for short periods.

you will benefit more with the Z32 550cc Injectors and a tune.

But until then you can run it safely

I know so cuz Im running mine on this setup + more

A good rule of thumb on the stock maf and injector is roughly 260whp. Seems for the most part, once you get close to that number, MAF and 370cc are maxing out...

Im on the stock maf still and am running a walbro fp, I was told that my car has upgraded injectors. They are red on top, but Im not sure what size or brand. My question is, whats the highest boost setting that I can safely run? Its a blacktop t28 with an original Greddy Profec B controller. Im not sure where to set my hi and lo boost settings. I also dont know what Balance means on this EBC. Ive downloaded the user manual but it doesnt help much. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

if you have all the supporting mods for the T28 do not go any higher than 16psi

Im sure this has been asnwered many times, yes I searched.
If I replace my s14 t28 with an s15 t28, will I need to tune my car?
I currently have a walpro fp, upgraded injectors (dont know what size 550 or 740's) and few other mods. Ive also been thinking about putting the stock 370's back in. Will this be an issue with that s15 T28?? I will eventually got with a romtune, but that will take atleast another month after I upgrade the turbo.

why?

You can blow S15 turbos past 18-19 if you want to.

that's all though

Not worth it, the GT28R isn't that much better than the S14 T28. If you do upgrade, just wait and go 2871r, or get the rest of your supporting mods first (z32 maf or standalone), tune the car for 18psi or so (maxing out the T28) and then decide if you want the bigger turbo.
