Discounted: $230 for people who want to drift day AND night
Additional $10 off if you bought strobe lights or HID from me and vice versa if you go to the night event, we will give you $10 off strobe light or HID kit. No other discounts will apply.

Eric's got a point about taking the correct line and hitting the clipping points.

If we all want to get better, I think we all have to take the correct line through the course and hit those clipping points- It's whats gonna be looked at during any competition and I bet the 626/Touke competition is no exception.

I still to this day make mistakes trying to hit the correct line and clipping points but if I can nail all of them in 1 out of 3 runs, 2 out of 5 runs, etc. I'm happy.

When I can hit all of it in 3 out of 3 runs, I'll be stoked haha.

Plus your influence on that run has more than 5 crashes under his belt there, so what does that tell you. Not good, very disapointed in you, you set the example on how to do track. :hammer: No job and you always found a way to pay for your track events and prepare your car, I hope you learned your lesson.

I tell everyone they really should do 3 Auto X events with the "Solo2" SCCA club here in SoCal. After about 10 years of Canyon/Touge racing Datsun 510's and a S13. I still learned an amazing amount at Auto X. And the instructors there are AWSOME !!!

So some auto cross mixed with numerous drift events gives me some really good car control and understanding. Even with that I rarely make a canyon appearence. Like 2 times a year, and I rarely run hard.



Oh well, done is done. Lesson learned. Lucky your alive and ok !!! So get to work on that shell homie!

I learned in the canyons and streets. Started tracking, and now I really hate going street drifting and canyon'ing. When I was up there that night, I had a feeling something bad was going to happen, but I did it anyways. And then what? I crashed. lol. I learned my lesson many times before, but this one was a car wrecker, so I shall retire from them silly mountains.

Charlie, i'm really glad that you are okay .. it sucks that u got ditched by ur "buddies" and had to call up ur real brothers to dig you out .. literally. Be glad you're okay, fuck the hatch you can come across another shell any damn day.

I used to run canyons all the damn time when i didin't know any better. me and eric even used to go up for that occasional "midnight treat" ... remember eric!!! you're lucky charlie. i haven't been up to any canyon since 11/27/07, when my beloved friend passed away and i helplessly couldnt do shit to help them as they tumbled 600 feet down the side of mt. wilson. my other 2 friends were both in critical condition, but thankfully made it. John didn't have a chance. he was only a passenger. only 17 years old, never had a girlfriend, never experienced love, barely got a taste of life. PLEASE think twice before doing anything senseless. I've experienced a few mishaps up in the canyons, but i always kept comin back for more. it's sad that something THIS extreme finally made me open my eyes.

also, tell ur homeboys wtfs up with their touge ettiquette. me, eric, and many know this...no one is ever left behind ... not just in the canyons either!!!!! i can vouch for eric. remember that time it was POURING rain at the T spot and my fuel pump fuse kept blowing over and over .. and as soon as my car wouldnt start, the cops showed, and everyone booked it back to the fort, but one person remained in the bright blue hatch. single cam castro! i dont think i properly thanked you for helping me that night, and helpin me tow my damn car with a mini van and ratchet straps in the pouring rain at 4am.

It's just a way of disciplining him for his actions Teddy Bear. You take away something that he really likes to do to make him learn that it's a "no no" to go tougeing in the canyons, especially with guys that leave you stranded there. If he gets the cold shoulder treatment, he'll realize that doing illegal sh*t isn't condone by his peers. He's only 16 and still very impressionable. Keep it on the tracks, not the streets.

I get a call from jeff jones and he says...lets go have some fun....so i meet him up we go up the back way of ac get up there then we go on this crazy ass 4x4 run that was fun a fuck sliddin around on paved dirt roads. Then we goto back to wilson for my front end demise. lol 1 week before the track event i fucking scrambled to get it back togeather. And i had just put my widebody on 2 fucking worst day ever. So ever since then i have been up there once and to take pics, no drifting.

Ive learned my lession fuck ur car up at the track its funner.

dam all these people wrecking up in the touge...its ok im one of u guys. i used to go up all the time. Then one night before my first track event in nov. I get a call from jeff jones and he says...lets go have some fun....so i meet him up we go up the back way of ac get up there then we go on this crazy ass 4x4 run that was fun a fuck sliddin around on paved dirt roads. Then we goto back to wilson for my front end demise. lol 1 week before the track event i fucking scrambled to get it back togeather. And i had just put my widebody on 2 fucking worst day ever. So ever since then i have been up there once and to take pics, no drifting.

Ive learned my lession fuck ur car up at the track its funner.

A. NO WORRYS ABOUT THE COPS.

AND C. ITS NOT AT FUCKING 3AM AND U GOTTA THINK ABOUT HOW UR GONNA GET IT HOME QUIETLY WITHOUT WAKING UP UR PARENTS LOL.

^What was wrong?

when i was fucking with the ARC box to get it in, i was moving around the intercooler piping, i guess i had shook loose some of the hose clamps for the couplers and just from driving around it got even more loose...8mm and 10min later...fixed

but the car was dying when i would come to a stop, at first i thought it was my fender harness because it had broke loose and i exposed a couple wires, i fixed that and it ran better....but then started acting up again, so i guess it was a combination of the 2

i'm not acutally 100% on which turn, it was my first time there, but i did several runs that night, the best way i could describe it, it was around half way down, and the last turn with a guardrail in that area. after that turn, there's no guardrails for a while.
