I think you need to specify what you need done
It might narrow down the search
i.e I need a tuner, I need a turbo expert, I need a welder, etc

you guys looking for a shop or just some random individual who happens to own a 240 and works as a mechanic?
Zilvia members that come to mind:
-luisgonz
-racepar1
Not actual mechanics, but are able to tinker with certain things:
-HWYKING
-Myself (small shit)
Post up what you actually need done and it's easier to know if just anyone can help you out or who to recommend you too.

There's way to many shady mechanics that prey on us...word of mouth or by reference might be the better way to go. Asking here helps. Some of the responses from members on this forums are hilarious...flaming hilarious. (Dorks)
Invest in the service manual for the 240. I read that monster of a book when I work on my ride. I still have a highly reliable mechanic to double check my work or service when I don't have all those expensive tools I'll only use once.
It only took me a year of asking around and researching to find him. He's in the SF/Bay Area - Concord. Sorry to disappoint you.
Ask the locals that frequent the tracks in El Toro for example or ask the fellas at Drift 101.
Be specific for sure on what you need done. That's a given right?
