What dual pass radiators are available?

I've been doing some searching for a dual pass radiator for the KA24DE and have only found the C&R Racing and the one that Hinson Supercars offers. Unfortuntely C&R Racing does not make that radiator anymore and for them to make one is over $700. The Hinson Supercars radiator is$600 but includes dual electric fans and the necessary hardware.

Anyone know of any other dual pass radiators?

Is dual pass the same as dual core? If so then Mishimoto is a great bang for the buck. Next would probably be KOYO.

just get a Koyo Aluminum with a Nismo Thermo, and you should never go over 70*C ever again (unless you run A/C)

Thanks for the suggestions but my build requires a dual pass stock location (KA24DE) radiator.

Rows and passes are not the same.

Seems like I'll have to order a C&R Racing one-off piece.

correct. Dual Pass is way different than dual core.

dual pass the coolant actually passes through one side of the radiator endtanks through the radiator to the other tank, and then back through again and out through the other radiator outlet.

C&R is the way to go.

yep, as far as i know, dual pass the fluid flows through the radiator twice.

koyo makes one, but i think its for sr only for now.

As already stated, dual pass is very different. I don't know what type of a build you are doing or how pretty it needs to be, but look into circle track racing radiators. They are DUAL PASS and CHEAP. By cheap i mean 1/3 of the prices you are mentioning.

I have a nismo low temp thermostat, N1 water pump, and a griffin rad.

and my fans kick on quick at 180 deg. i usually stay around 200deg with that setup. and i remover anyhting in bay that was related to the AC.

this is on a RB25 that is, but point is that you can always improve cooling as long as you are past the op temp of the engine.

Like others have mentioned, try looking for circle track stuff. Summit sells nice DP rads for under $300, and you might find something good on ebay from the Nascar surplus type of sellers. I got lucky and got a C&R DP for an SR with a huge SPAL fan used last year, but they're definitely not common or cheap.

Griffin dual passes are about 600-700. You have to call and custom order it. You just tell them you want a ka radiator but in a dual pass design. You can also specify how thick you want the core. The only problem is that it takes about a month to receive it once you order it.

Also you can't really have a dual pass or really need it for an SR, because of the opposite radiator inlet and outlets. This helps to spread water across the entire radiator, as opposed to the ka inlet and outlet design, which allows water to flow directly down and not properly spread.

Also even for single pass radiators, griffin kills koyo. I have used koyo on multiple cars, and everytime they overheat when being driven hard in hot weather. Griffin radiators have yet to fail me...
