well i just bought my s13 with a ka24de swap.
heres my problem, it has after market pulleys and i have no idea on where the timing marks are or i just think it doesnt have any markings at all. i need to time the car because it idles very rough...
anyone know how to time without the the markings?
thanks.

just buy a stock pulley from the junk yard, do the timing, then replace the old pulley with the new one again.

I used the stock pulley and lined it up with the new one to get the marks. then checked if TDC was correct by putting a straw into cyl#1 and cranking it until it hit the mark(while keeping an eye on the straw to make sure it hits the mark when the straw is highest)

mm so i can just turn the engine to TDC and just mark the pulley?
