insurance...

so i had a coupe for awhile and just did researched.
moved out and now im back in with my folks (i'm 17)
i sold the coupe :down:

so now im deciding on the 240sx or a mazda3
i'm really not up on paying 500$ a month for insurance
but im also not down on paying insurance and car payments for the mazda3.
what would you think its the best way.

any 17 year olds with a 240 and self insured?

^^ stay under your parents!! do you honestly wanna pay that much for ins.??? when you can use that on a car payment or mods??

yea suck that parental money teat for as long as possible, plus it may be more than 500, especially if you have any past or future traffic violations, I'm 20 and it would be about that much for me and I only have a fender bender on my record, so for a 17 year old......

I only have liability... so it's like 60 bucks a month... I'm 17.

If I ever get in an accident thats my fault I'm gonna be pissed. My car is to clean to not be fully insured lol

I only have liability as well and I pay like, $113 a month.

Dont only get Liability.. Atleast get Comprehensive so your car is covered for fire and theft. Its Cheap!!!

yea liability sucks but hey keeps you legal, due to the parentals Mine is roughly 89 bucks a month for liability

If you buy a 240sx get only liability with theft coverage. You would be pretty dumb to get full coverage in your own name and pay 500.00 a month for a 240. If your forced to move back in with your parents chances are you dont need to be buying a new car either. So yeah, my advice is s13 with liability and theft coverage.

My insurance is about 55.00 a month with liability. But thats because I had good grades and only one accident that wasnt my fault. Ill be 25 soon wich means I can insure a real sports car.
