Need help with hids on Trip. projectors(searched)

First off, im new to silvia front ends and head lights..wiring...
I have searched, but noone had this particular problem and the threads were mostly retrofits and lhd/rhd light unevenness.

i do know about the rhd/lhd cut off thing. This is temporary until i find a decent deal on tsx projectors to retrofit. I unfortunately bought these before i researched, so since im about 90% done getting these to work, i might as well finish it up to see what it looks like.

has anyone been able to get these installed on Silva triple projectors on the lowbeam?
Im curious cuz i dont know how to get the hid h1 bulbs to stay in the housing. The hid bulb only has wires comming out of it, so i cant plug it into the stock unit piece.
The thing that holds the stock bulb in place is built into the same unit that the stock h1 bulb plugs into.

Do i need the lil clamp thing like an h3 or h4 has to hold in its bulbs?

if you dont care about those connectors you need to drill thru them so you can slip yours thru.

ahh, i actually do care lol, i'd like to keep them just in case...
i got no idea how much it might cost to get a new set.

i also did pry out one of the clip things and use a plastic spacer, but it didnt work. Super glue was another option lol. I really dont want to opt to either, and finding a spacer+ fitment is gonna be a dam pain.

too bad u already bought the h1 b/c what i did was i switched the "holder" from the high beam (h3/H3c) to the low beam (h1 with the funny socket) and i bought hids for an h3 bulb,

yea thats what i did, its a little bit of a pain to remove the holder on the hi beam, but use the adjustment screws and u should have enough rrom to remove it.

seeing as how u already have the h1 hid's i figured why not try to help u out, i came up with a little bracket that should work...

what u need is a piece of sheet metal, prob about 18ga, snips, 1/8 drill bit and drill

first cut the sheet metal in to a strip about 1/2" wide by ~3" long,

then bend them like this

once u get them bent take and old bulb, put it in the holder and "mock up" the strap, and make any adjustments also mark the hole for the screw and drill it out, re-fit and re-adjust if need be

once you can get the bulb in securly install the holder and they bulb back into the housing, its kinda trickey but just use the adjustment screws to positon the hole

it really only take a few mins to fab this up and it should work for what u have.

hey i just did mine i drilled out the old connector with out breaking the nubs to hold the HID bulbs -los
