sitting at the alignment shop right now and was just informed that the camber plate on my JIC fla2 is fully adjusted, yet I still have negative camber? the kid at the shop suggested custom fab work that includes cutting into the strut tower. I'm hoping for a more reasonable suggestion. perhaps eccentric bolts? or did I install the coils wrong?

Why would you not want negative camber? -1.5 to -2 deg is good for street driving with zero toe up front in my experience.

I am running about -3.5 ish deg. Probably a bit much, but it turns in great.

see multiple holes move the bolts back 1 more spot and it will get you a little more adjustment

ah indeed, i do want neg camber, just didnt know how much was appropriate for street driving. its sitting at 2.5 now, ill leave it. although im afraid if i lower the car more, it will fall out of an acceptable range. here is a pic of the camber plate to show my situation:

just move to allens closer to bottom of pic in towards other set of allens..
you also can adjust from your lower mount area, the 2 17mm bolts, and just move knuckle and coil and tighten...

I have 3.5 on my car also...love it...track / street. more track tho!

dude, thats not the problem, the top of his strut isnt going to move anymore without cutting the camber plate.

but if its at 2.5* i would leave it.

Just move the allen bolts closer together, or over to the inside completely, and you'll get plenty more adjustment. LOL at the tech talking about cutting into your strut towers...

You have some adjustment in the knuckle too. Loosen the bolts and pull out.
