What is everyone playing nowadays?

Talking about video games.. specifically PC games.. I'm not looking to nerd out for several hours and pay a monthly subscription, but I'm curious as to what everyone is playing nowadays that doesnt have a fee. I've got a 360 also, but its mainly been collecting dust.

I replayed and beat the Splinter Cell games on hard recently just for the heck of it. Hard level is fucking lame, it's the same as normal. If anything, hard felt even easier than normal. I have all of them except Chaos Theory. I love the concept of the games but the first two are too scripted and linear to my liking. For some reason I still like them overall. Been looking everywhere for CT but can't find any. I may end up getting it from Amazon.

I'd love to play Crysis and Supreme Commander but my computers aren't up to it. I'll need to upgrade stuff first.

On PC, I'm just plain addicted to World of Warcraft. but yeah unfortunately there is a fee. I pay around $150 annual.
Occasionally i also play some Forza 2 and GTA 4 on the 360. Really don't have the time or initiative to any other games.

The only games I've been playing on my PC are emulated, mostly N64 emu.

High-res texture remapped SM64 for one, and then also some Wonder Project J2, which is a weird game.

Otherwise it's just been PS2 JRPG catchup. Currently on Growlanser Generations.

I quit for over a year before the BC expansion came out. Just like smoking, quiting isn't hard. Its having the discipline of not going back that's the challenge.

What makes staying away from it even more difficult is that there simply isn't a lot of games out there as polished and effective as WoW. You figure it's a system that's been constantly refined and updated over a course of several yrs. Only time a dominant mmorpg has been overtaken was when evercrack was outdone by WoW. I doubt its going to happen again anytime soon.

PC: C&C 3, but haven't been on it in awhile. Really, really, really looking forward to Red Alert 2 coming out in November (used to play the OG hardcore back in the day, love that game).
