I borrowed a 4.0 megapixel digicam this weekend for importfest so I finally had the opportunity to take some quality pics of my ride.

These were taken on the way to ImportFest, at Colossus theater in Langley. You can see dripping on water on the car because I had just come out of the touchless car wash.

40 views and not a single reply? Nobody likes my clean coupe?

Your link isn't correct. Make sure you use "http://" before the address or it will think it's a local page.

You car looks nice. The wheels are ok. A little too Advan Kreuzer/Volk Challenge for my taste, but not so much that I actually like them. (Kreuzer has much deeper dish and most people here know my opinion of knockoffs and copies). Nice car though. Geez I need to work on mine some more. I may just put the body panels back on so it doesn't look so ugly...

Oops Thanks!

Yes, I've been hearing they are similar to Volk Challenger wheels. They are on for a very good deal so I don't really care too much at this point. $600 cdn which is roughly $450 US or something like that for wheels and tires.

I've updated the link

your car looks really good... are the whiteline springs pretty stiff? they look a little lower than my GC's, i like them b/c they are stiff, but they need to be a little lower...

alkatraz

hard to say really.. stiffness is a very dificult thing to measure because it basicaly depends on what your comparing it to.

Compared to stock it's VERY stiff, but it could be because of the shocks (which are currently adjusted to 50% soft/50% firm, hehehe it should be fun will I adjust them to 100% firm =))

I would recommend the the whitelines because they do seem to lower the car more than eibach sportlines, which it seems like everyone else uses.

How loud is that Blitz exhaust on NA? I just bought one for my 95 so I'm just wondering. Looks good man.

Thanks guys!

The Blitz exhaust is VERY loud without the silencer, with the silencer it's not too loud at all..

I decided to go with the 3" Catback because of my long term Turbo plans. It's stainless steel so I figure it's going to last me a good couple of years and then I won't have to worry about exhaust when it's time to go forced induction. =)

However, I would recommend 2.25"-2.5" piping for most NA KA applications. If I had the money I would have bought a 2.25" catback now and then the 3" catback when I had the turbo. Gas millege went down a bit.. a bit of torque is gone, but theres more mid/high. Pull harder through the higher rpms now.

How much did you spend on your silencer and where did you get it?

does the silencer make your car sound legal? How about so quiet-you-won't-get-pulled-over, loud? I'd really like to get 2.5in. piping with that same muffler.

do you ever have issues of the exhaust hitting the ground or scraping on speedbumps/driveways/potholes? Yours looks scary low, and I know my car will be the same way in a month

"does the silencer make your car sound legal? How about so quiet-you-won't-get-pulled-over, loud? I'd really like to get 2.5in. piping with that same muffler. "

Hmmm.. hard to say...

Definetely more legal than without.. It's probably around the legal level, maybe a little bit louder.

"you are canadian right???"

Yup, eh

heh heh I live in Chilliwack, BC (1hr from Vancouver, BC and 3-4 hrs from Seattle, WA)

"NWN reppin here too, but not very northwestern "

Really? Good to hear! Yoshi, you're on NWN aren't you?
This has always been a favourite forum of mine but I haven't had the time until recently to check on it frequently.

Thx!

We'll have to see some pics of your new one when you get it. heh heh

"do you ever have issues of the exhaust hitting the ground or scraping on speedbumps/driveways/potholes? Yours looks scary low, and I know my car will be the same way in a month "

yup, but I had that problem before too though.. It's pretty low but it's nice and stiff now so you don't get that "jump" when you go straight over a speedbump at low speeds. Of course if you're going to plow over it as if it's not there its going to do some damage, but it's stainless steel so it's not going to rust from a few scratches.

I have a question about the Blitz exhaust. I as well want one for when I go turbo. I will run 3" dp, cat, and the Blitz Nur Spec. Here's my question: does the Blitz exhaust taper down to fit the stock cat, or did getting the exhaust force you to do some modifications to get it to fit the stock cat? Thanks!

Thanks!

I love the s13 coupe style, it totatly grows on you (and then takes over).

I used to own a red s13 hatch but it was sadly written off by a drunk driver who ran a red light (sniff)

http://240sx.northwestnissans.com/

I ended up with the coupe style a year ago because it was a better value than anything available at the time, but now I couldn't be happier with it. I find that it never gets shot at the the right angle in photo's.. a low down side shot or rear 3/4 view makes it look soooo sweet! but a high 3/4 view makes it look unproportioned. kind of hard to explain...

The blitz catback bolts right up to the stock cat with no mods needed. I had to get a shop to do it though because my existing exhaust bolts were completely stuck into the cat and they needed to be welded out.

I'm not positive, but I believe I heard somewhere that the stock cat on a s13 is either 2.5" or 3", which is pretty damn large for a stock cat. I plan to get a 3" downpipe when I make the move to turbo down the road, but will probably keep the stock cat so I can pass AirCare (BC, Canada's version of CA emissions testing)

Thanks guys for the nice comments!

I have to admit though, the paint doesn't look nearly as good up close. Like I said in the first post, I took these pictures within 5 minutes of getting out of touchless car wash so there was no opportunity for any dust/crap to get on it! =)

I'll be getting a cut polish in the spring and then a paint job down the road when I've got the performance end taken care of.
