BOGGING problem HELP PLEASE!

Alright Im going up to the case. My car boggs up when I gas it and when I don't gas it, it will die. It idles really rough and then it dies and if I gas it before it dies there will be a big cloud of black smoke and it smells like gas fuel. So I need help to know what it is. I'm thinking its the Fuel injectors..can it be anything else? lmk thanks.:wtc:

Is your ECU throwing any codes?

mine did that too, it was the spark plugs. have you checked that?

100% it is your mafs.. My girls' just went out 1 month ago and I just fixed it this Saturday. Bought a new MAFs and took care of the problem.

She had the exact same symptoms: Bogging on and off throttle, erratic idle, Car stalling and dying at stops. Sever hesitation, Black smoke.

Chances are it won't throw a code, hers is a 96 and never threw a code, unless I disconnected the pigtail, which did not tell me much.

Have you checked for leaky injectors? Sounds like the symptoms of it.

Sounds like mine when I fried my MAF. But mine threw a code, maybe it's because mine is a 98? Either way, try out another S14 MAF that you know is in good working order and see if that fixes your problem.
