View Full Version : removed dampener, is this how the pedal should feel?

I notice at the very top of travel I can feel a little pop in my foot at the pedal. Almost like it lets off and then rises a split another hair up.
I also replaced the clutch master / slaves at the same time.

i found I didn't have the master cylinder rod quite extended enough...I haven't done a full drive yet, but I think this may be it.
I will check the return spring tomorrow if it's still happening.

That should be it.
Because it shouldn't feel much different from stock.

yeah it was, it wasn't backing out all the way by only a sliver...the new hydralics have helped the condition I was having where the clutch was grabbing even if all the way to the floor under higher rpms.
I am going to back out the rod a little more and see if I can fix it totally now.

i felt zero difference with the damper removed
gl with rod adjustment
