so a friend of mine, who i'm pretty sure is on here (ISTOTOSAO -steven sueppel) posted up on shift-lock.net a few weeks ago. The school his wife teaches at was going to reward the kids who met a reading goal with something cool, but unfortunately they brought out drift cars instead.. so here's some pictures!

the kids LOVED the cars, we had a little vote for the best sounding one contest, and... well the blue car (jbao/jon) had a stock exhaust. that was awesome.

fun experience, cool kids, and after..... awesome burgers :bigok:

i am drooling at the 350z, the school should've planned a field trip to the track so the kids get to see the cars in action. but nonetheless, pretty cool! the kids looked like they enjoy it.

awesome! What a gift. I remember watching my dad work on his cars at that age. He would try to explain stuff but for me it was all about the looks, and those cars look pretty awesome on that lawn. I would have loved to see the kids' face when they walked out of the door. I would have tried to bribe the kids to vote for my car with kool-aid and cookies. lol

"Today in school I saw drift cars hard parked on the grass!"

...must have been sweet though. Too bad it wasn't a field trip to the track to see the cars in action.

i wonder if the kids were really excited? probably something high schoolers would be more interested in. i'm sure the kids would have been more happy if pokimon or power rangers showed up.

lucky shit

there was a car "show" at my high school when I was a senior. the cars were mostly student cars

guess what they did

BLOCKED OFF THE EXITS
TICKETED IMPORTS

no bullshit.
there was a dsm there with 300hp that they didn't care too much for, but the integra that was lowered with exhaust got a bunch of fix it ones.
