All I can really say is wow. This is absolutely incredible. I know that all of us can appreciate some nice fab work but this definatly goes above and beyond. This guy has been building a replica H1 out of his garage, and it is just nearing completion. You have to check this out.

on one of the pages the dude said for all the supplies, he spent less than 20,000 for everything. the finished paint job was free too.

Yea, I remember on Xtreme 4x4 they did that to one of there suburbans.

Pretty sweet imo.

so i guess it would be a better gas millage hummer? heheh
I guess its cool since you can mod it cheaply with F150 aftermarket parts.. Probably the accomplished joys of making it yourself and then driving is why one would do it.

I just can't imagine the time putting into recreating EVERYTHING. If I read right the only thing on the body he bought was the hood because it would be a huge pain in the ass to make it. Everything else he did himself from scratch. There is a page somewhere in the 30's where it should the very beginning where he just started on the body.

he also said this

I had no welding experience when I started the hummer
All I used was a homemade bender, grinders and cutting shears

The fab work is cool and all but if I was to replicate something a Hummer wouldn't even make the top 100 list.
