First off, the reason why i need to take apart the air control unit in the dash is because i got a feeling that the slide switch for the temperatures is not attatched to anything. I have to get this fixxed, because its freezing everyday. I took out the unit, by unscrewing 4 screws, detatched one pair of wires from the back, while leaving the other one on because it can't come out. Now my question is, how in the hell do you get under where the slide switch so i can connect it back up to whatever it has to get connected to.

Also a question about my headlights. One of my highbeams are projecting a nasty color while only my lowbeams are on. Then when I turn my highbeam on, my lowbeam is a nasty color..how do i stop this? Each of of the headlights are brand new.

By the way, i have a 96 240. Just incase if that info was needed for the heater situation.

Please help me out with this so I don't have to get gipped by a dealership

you might get more attention for this topic if you put it in the Tech section of the forums.  Sorry I couldn't answer your question.
