You just need to wire them to a switch and power source separate from your headlight circuit.

Thats all there is to it. Power, switch, load, ground.

Possibly
Probably
Most likely
12v power source -> Switch
Switch -> Relay
Power Source -> Relay
Relay - Lights
Piece of cake.

12v power source -> Fuse
Fuse -> Switch
Switch -> Relay
Power Source -> Relay
Relay - Lights
Note the addition in red.

dude just wire them into your parking lights then when you flip your switch up your parking lights come on as well as your fog's and then when you flip the switch all the way up your head lights will also be on. make sure you use a good ground but your best bet is to fuse it in the fuse box by your foot on drivers side
good luck

Good try, but no. The parking light circuit is only rated for 10A. Piggy-backing foglights on this circuit will lead to fuses popping at best, and fire at worst.
Better to use the parking signal to trip a relay on a separate fuse to power the foglights.

Which is how you do based on a dozen writeups all over, including several here. Carlos wrote one up last year with details pics. Trigger the relay off the parking light circuit, takes less than 2 minutes to do it.
