Guys' can some tell me, when you tap the Valve cover for AN fittings,
What do you tap it for.
I mean what do you do to the cover ? You obviously remove the oem nipples, and tap the holes for a tread - what tread ?
I want to use AN10 fittings and this is for a black top, nutch, sr20det.
Thanks !
3/8" NPT.
I just ran a stainless steel 3/8" fitting I had into the stock T location. It's close enough to the right diameter to thread in and cut some threads since the valve cover is so soft.

What are you trying to connect the AN fitting to?

The rear of the valve cover fitting, on the exhaust side, will go to the crank breather pipe, wich is already fitted with an AN10 fitting.
The other fitting on the exhaust side, will go to a catch can.
I want braided hose, as i am tyred of replacing burned rubber hoses.

As i said guys, its the NOTCH tpye Black top - that means there is no T.
Instead there are two fittings - on in the middle, and one at the back.
I dont want to weld, as my cover is polished, and the welds will not look good enough for my taste.
Allso, i dont want to go over polishing again - too much work.
It was a mistake to begin with, but it does look nice.

T or not, those fittings are just pressed in. No matter how hard you try, you are prob going to need to repolish some areas. It sucks...but i know how good it can look.

Yep... Looks good but as i said - a mistake.
Each time i tuch it, i need to clean it and as i need to tuch it to clean it, i need to clean it again.... Its a loop that never ends.
At the end - you still have marks on it..aghhhhhhh !
