I dont want to be adjusting camber or using spacers, etc . Something popular and cheap. not looking for anything esoteric.

Is there a list somewhere of rims etc that will work without mods. thanks.

Steelies are popular and cheap, as are used tires, but that's not what you're looking for, is it? You should be more specific.

I want the max size without altering cam etc. Is that 17 by 8 inch rims? there has to be a sweet spot where the average guy goes. aluminum rims. or should i just go by the packages that they offer ie 17 by 7?

No. Gay. Fail.

Here's what you need to know. S14's need lower offset than s13's do. 17x7 is weak. Stagger. Fat rear tires = baller. And You can put whatever crazy ass combination you want without messing with camber, but you may have to stretch/cut/fabricate/magically-poof your fenders.

Something classic on a 240 without breaking the bank? FN01R-C's do a decent job. Widely available, lots of sizes, easy to get ahold of, and every third 240 (including mine lol) rocks em.

My s14 is sitting on 17x8 up front, 17x9 in the rear. I would really like the 9's up front, and get some 10's in the rear.

Why don't you make one? The wheel fitment thread is really mixed up and it's hard to find out what size wheels people are using.
